HOW THE QUOTATION WORKFLOW WORKS

From CAD files
to an engineer-ready RFQ.

The platform collects the information our engineering team needs in a consistent project record, so the formal quotation starts with the correct files and requirements.

01

Upload the project once

Upload one CAD file for a single part, or upload multiple files or a ZIP for an assembly. The platform automatically opens the right quotation workflow.

02

Configure the actual requirements

Select the manufacturing process, material, surface finish, roughness, quantity and lead time. For assemblies, configure common requirements in batches and adjust individual parts only when needed.

03

Check the estimate, then submit

Review the 3D model, geometry data and planning price. When the configuration is ready, submit the RFQ for a MOCKUP engineer to verify before issuing the formal quotation.

WHAT THE PLATFORM ACTUALLY DOES

Every tool supports
a specific quotation task.

SINGLE PART OR ASSEMBLY

Start the right quote without rebuilding the file list.

One CAD file opens the single-part configurator. Multiple files or a ZIP open the batch workspace automatically.

What this changesYou can quote one component or a complete assembly from the same upload entry.
3D AND GEOMETRY CHECK

Confirm the system has understood the part.

Rotate the model and review dimensions, volume, surface area, body count and analysis confidence before using the estimate.

What this changesThe price is connected to the uploaded geometry, not only to a form description.
CONFIGURATION AND PLANNING PRICE

See how your production choices affect the estimate.

Configure process, material, finish, roughness, quantity and lead time. The estimate updates with the selected requirements.

What this changesYou can correct the configuration before asking an engineer to prepare the formal quote.
ENGINEER-LED DFM REVIEW

Send engineering a configured RFQ, not just a CAD file.

When automatic geometry analysis is uncertain, the project is flagged for review. A MOCKUP engineer verifies manufacturability, tolerances, material, finish and inspection requirements before the formal quotation.

What this changesAutomation prepares the project; engineering judgment controls the production commitment.

ENGINEERING INTELLIGENCE BEFORE REVIEW

More engineering context,
captured before review.

Prepare a more complete precision-part RFQ by combining automated geometry checks with the drawings and specifications that control manufacturing.

AUTOMATED DFM

Find manufacturability risks in the uploaded geometry.

Screen for thin walls, deep holes and cavities, small internal radii, undercuts, tool-access constraints and tolerance-sensitive features. Review likely risks before submitting the RFQ to a MOCKUP engineer.

DRAWING-LED RFQ

Keep the 3D model and 2D requirements together.

Attach PDF engineering drawings and DXF/DWG profiles to the corresponding CAD part so GD&T, threads, critical tolerances, inspection notes and planar profiles travel with the correct revision.

01

Planning price

The on-screen estimate helps with early cost planning. It is not presented as the final production quotation.

02

Engineering verification

A MOCKUP engineer reviews geometry, process, tolerance, material, finish and inspection requirements before confirming the quote.

03

Customer center

After submission, quotations, revisions, production progress, quality records and project files remain available in the customer workspace.
